CM Yogi’s remarks unfold against the backdrop of a widespread Gen Z protest –– led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) –– in Delhi over the paper leak controversy linked to the NEET-UG 2026.
Speaking at News18 India’s Diamond States Summit program, he said: “Under the Chief Minister’s Abhyudaya Coaching scheme, individuals who have successfully cleared the UPSC examination dedicate at least one hour of their time to mentor those who are willing to prepare for UPSC, NEET, IIT, and JEE exams". “Our youth are talented. The youth of Eastern Uttar Pradesh represent the largest youth population in the country", added the CM. CM Yogi underlined how eastern Uttar Pradesh witnessed transformation over the 12 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “Eastern Uttar Pradesh has come a long distance", he said. “I’m not referring to these changes specifically. But when the public itself can clearly perceive a change, it’s fair to conclude that a change has indeed occurred. In independent India ––keeping aside Kashi and Prayagraj –– there was no university in Uttar Pradesh.
Over the past 9 years, universities were built in Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Balrampur, and Mirzapur. Recently, the Kashi Naresh University was established in Bhadohi", said the Chief Minister. CM Yogi Targets Congress, SP Targeting the previous Samajwadi Party (SP)-led State government and the Congress-led regime at the Centre, CM Yogi Adityanath said the outbreak of diseases –– Malaria and Encephalitis –– had become a “policy". “Innocent children suffered from Encephalitis. I fought this fight even as MP. When I got the opportunity to fight as CM, I ensured the state was freed from this disease within two years", he said. CM Yogi accused the Congress and Samajwadis of failing to impose measures to curb the outbreak of Encephalitis in the state. “There was nobody to take care of them. I remember the struggle with Encephalitis. I regret that the Congress party ruled the state for a long time.
