The programme focuses on encouraging society to say no to drugs, protecting young people and strengthening community-level prevention. The government has also announced anti-drug task force headquarters in every district, with police personnel playing a key role in the initiative.
The campaign is aimed at preventing drug trafficking, tracking financial networks and strengthening surveillance along Tamil Nadu's borders with Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
