Traffic police authorities in Delhi, Noida and Faridabad have issued advisories urging commuters to plan their journeys in advance, avoid non-essential travel during peak hours and opt for alternate routes wherever possible. Several stretches being used by Kanwariyas have already witnessed diversions, lane restrictions and increased traffic pressure at multiple points. Delhi-NCR Routes Likely To Face Maximum Impact Kalindi Kunj–Noida-Delhi Border The Kalindi Kunj route, which connects South Delhi with Noida, is expected to witness heavy traffic due to increased movement of Kanwariyas as well as regular vehicular traffic. Commuters travelling between Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Kalindi Kunj and sectors of Noida near the Delhi border should expect delays. DND Flyway The DND Flyway, a key link between Delhi and Noida, may also see slow traffic, particularly during morning and evening peak hours. Office traffic could add to the pressure as vehicles diverted from other border routes are expected to use the flyway. Ashram–Mathura Road–Badarpur Traffic restrictions linked to the Kanwar Yatra are likely to affect parts of Ashram Chowk, Mathura Road and the Badarpur stretch.
