Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has appealed to protesting students to maintain peace, assuring them that his government will handle their demands with seriousness and sensitivity. He thanked the police and administration for handling the student protest with restraint. Emphasising that students have a democratic right to raise concerns, Soren noted that senior ministers are in continuous dialogue with them.
He promised measures to make the examination system more transparent, technology-driven, secure, and accountable. Additionally, Soren accused opposition leaders of attempting to politicise the student protests and urged students not to be misled by political narratives, reiterating his appeal for trust and dialogue to resolve the issues.
