Yadav has also sought enhancement of his security cover, according to reports. The move comes days after a scuffle broke out at his Delhi residence while he was addressing a press conference on August 2.
Following the incident, Yadav alleged that it was part of an attempt to assassinate him. What Happened At Yadav’s Residence? According to reports, a group of individuals allegedly confronted Yadav during the media interaction, triggering a clash with his supporters. The confrontation came amid the controversy surrounding an Opposition skit on the Ram Mandir, which was performed inside the Parliament complex earlier this week. Yadav and his supporters later claimed that two men involved in the incident were carrying a knife. Visuals circulating on social media showed a knife placed on a table after the confrontation. The incident has now been followed by Yadav’s move to the Delhi High Court, where he has sought urgent action over concerns regarding his safety.
Pappu Alleges Conspiracy To Kill Him Speaking to reporters after the incident, Yadav claimed that there had been a conspiracy to kill him. He also alleged that a reward had been announced against him. The MP has now sought an urgent threat perception assessment by the government and an enhancement of his security cover. His plea comes amid concerns raised by him following the August 2 confrontation at his residence. Yadav had alleged that the incident was not merely a clash but part of an attempt on his life.
