In a post on X, Soren said students had raised their demands peacefully and had the right to express their views in a democracy. He said it was the government’s responsibility to respect their voices. Soren said senior ministers had remained in dialogue with the students and assured them that their concerns would be addressed with “utmost seriousness and sensitivity." He also said the government had been working to remove shortcomings in the examination system so that students would not face similar problems in the future.

“You have raised your voice for your demands in a peaceful manner. In a democracy, it is your right to express your views, and it is the government’s responsibility to respect your voice. The government has heard you. Our senior ministers have been in constant dialogue with you, and I assure you that action will be taken on your demands with utmost seriousness and sensitivity," he wrote on X. He appealed to the students “not to fall into the trap of any such political narrative." Soren said students were the future of Jharkhand and stressed that listening to their concerns was part of the government’s responsibility. “Let us resolve this issue together through dialogue and trust," he said. Soren’s remarks came hours after several protesters were reportedly injured during clashes with police, while student leader Devendra Nath Mahto was taken to hospital after his health deteriorated amid the ongoing agitation.
