Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has condemned the use of force against students protesting in Jharkhand, stating that violence against peaceful demonstrators is completely wrong regardless of where it occurs. Addressing a press conference, Gandhi emphasized that students have a right to peacefully protest and that only dialogue can yield solutions.
He urged the Jharkhand government, where Congress is in power, to listen to the students and resolve their issues immediately. Reaffirming his stance, Gandhi asserted, "We condemn any violence against peacefully protesting students," adding that there is no confusion that peaceful protests should not be attacked with force.
