A viral video from Gurugram's high-profile residential complex, The Camellias, shows a woman repeatedly assaulting a domestic help by pulling, pushing, slapping, grabbing her face and hair, and forcing a finger into her mouth. The footage was recorded covertly by a resident in the society and shared on social media, leading to public outrage. Gurugram Police have taken suo moto cognizance of the video and registered a First Information Report at the Sushant Lok Police Station under provisions including wrongful confinement and voluntarily causing hurt.
