Speaking on the student protests outside the Assembly over paper leaks in Jharkhand, Babulal Marandi stated that the issue goes beyond a paper leak, alleging that jobs have been sold by the government. He mentioned irregularities in recruitment exams conducted by the JSSC and JPSC, including CGL, excise constables, PGT teachers, and multiple JPSC examinations.
Demanding action on behalf of the protesting youth and the public, Marandi stated, "Paper leak ka mamla nahi hai, yahan mamla hai naukri ko sarkar ne becha hai." He demanded the immediate cancellation of all affected examinations and a comprehensive probe into the matter by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
