In an exclusive interview, former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP leader Raghubar Das voiced strong support for student protesters in Ranchi and demanded an immediate CBI probe into alleged recruitment exam scams. Criticising the JMM-Congress coalition government for suppressing peaceful demonstrations, he alleged that the state is witnessing the country's biggest recruitment scam involving blacklisted agencies.
Das asserted that during his tenure, the government conducted transparent examinations and provided over 1,33,000 jobs without any scandal. He urged the state leadership to fix examination calendars, introduce structural reforms, and refer all JPSC and JSSC CGL recruitment irregularities directly to the CBI. He also questioned Congress leaders for maintaining a dual stance of supporting protests while continuing to back the state government.
