The Opposition has also demanded discussions on the violence during student protests and the alleged donation fraud in the Ram Mandir. Sources said the Opposition has made it clear that unless both its demands are accepted, it will not allow the House to function. Govt Offers Amit Shah Reply The Centre has agreed in principle to a discussion on the student protests, with Amit Shah expected to respond. The government has also urged the Opposition to allow Parliament to function, with the home minister’s response being offered as a way to address concerns over the crackdown on protesting students. However, the Opposition is seeking more than a reply. Its demand is that the student protests as well as the alleged donation fraud in the Ram Mandir be discussed in the House.
