The parliamentary deadlock between the government and the opposition continues to deepen over key demands regarding student protests and allegations of corruption in the Ayodhya Ram Temple trust. Opposition members are insisting on a statement regarding police action and brutality against protesting students, alongside a formal debate on the mismanagement and financial irregularities surrounding the temple trust.
Despite ongoing disruptions and ruckus in the Lok Sabha, the Tribunals Reforms Bill was passed by voice vote with zero debate. The opposition maintains that both issues are of significant public interest and that no parliamentary business should proceed until the government agrees to address both matters. With only four days remaining in the current session, opposition leaders urge the government not to waste time and to allow discussions under established parliamentary procedures.
