The girl had stepped out of her house to play in an open area when the dogs surrounded her. As she tried to run away, two dogs caught hold of her and began biting her. Five other dogs then joined the attack. CCTV footage shows the child struggling to escape as the pack surrounded her. Hearing her screams, nearby residents rushed to the spot, drove the dogs away and rescued the girl. The child suffered serious injuries in the attack and is undergoing treatment.
