BJP IT department head Amit Malviya levelled the allegations while sharing a purported video of former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, in which the AAP leader appeared to suggest that those who took to the streets were not merely seeking the resignation of then Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. “Is baar jitne log aaye the sadkon par, wo kis liye aaye the? There was no immediate response from Kejriwal or the AAP to the BJP’s allegations. ‘CJP Was AAP’s Pet Project’: BJP Seizing on Kejriwal’s purported remarks, Malviya claimed that the Jantar Mantar agitation had nothing to do with education reforms or the NEET controversy and was instead a political project aimed at PM Modi. Malviya further accused the organisers of using students for a political agenda. “Your children were used as cannon fodder for the AAP and Congress’s political agenda. Never forget that. They could have been hurt, embroiled in violence, or had their lives ruined. But that didn’t happen, thanks to the exemplary restraint shown by the law-enforcement agencies," he said. He also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Kejriwal, calling for those who, according to him, had presented themselves as leaders of the agitation before distancing themselves from it to be exposed.
