Kerala's General Education Department has suspended teacher Guru Prasad, who prepared the question paper for a school-level 'Freedom Quiz' held across Kasaragod's Kumbla and Manjeshwaram sub-districts. The action followed a controversy over a question concerning Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, which the Education Minister's office said was allegedly framed in a way that could promote misleading and historically unsupported information.
