A massive fire broke out at a commercial complex in Hyderabad's Ameerpet area, completely gutting a toy shop, Helmet World, and KSR Fashion. The blaze started on the second floor and quickly spread to the first floor, fueled by inflammable materials like helmets and clothing. Thick smoke engulfed the area, prompting the deployment of seven fire tenders.
All occupants were safely evacuated, and no casualties have been reported. A Deputy Commissioner of the GHMC confirmed that the building lacked mandatory fire safety equipment due to its small size. Authorities stated that action will be taken against the owners for safety violations once the fire is completely extinguished and a thorough inspection is conducted.
