Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan broke his silence regarding his resignation, claiming that attempts were made to mislead Gen Z during the NEET protests. He stated that he had approached the Prime Minister to offer his resignation, emphasizing that youth aspirations are bigger than ministerial portfolios and that stepping down was not a prestige issue.
Pradhan highlighted that the youth cannot be ignored and that their voices extend beyond online platforms. Reporter Aishwarya Paliwal noted that Pradhan reiterated his decision was guided by understanding youth aspirations and stepping down after nefarious elements sought to mislead students during the protests at Jantar Mantar.
