Rapid Read The report described the object as a large, dark triangular craft that appeared to move across the sky above the mountains. The US government is investigating a report about two alleged classified videos that purportedly show a massive triangular object flying over a Colorado military installation. The US Department of War acknowledged that it is looking into the report, which was first published by the New York Post.
Acting Press Secretary Joel Valdez said the department’s team was examining the claims and indicated that any information uncovered could potentially be released through the department’s PURSUE programme. The development comes after the Post reported that two videos allegedly recorded in 2023 show what witnesses described as a roughly 100-foot black triangular object moving over mountains near a Colorado military facility. According to sources cited by the New York Post, the footage was recorded by a service member using a personal cellphone on two consecutive nights in 2023. The sources reportedly described the object as a large, dark triangular craft that appeared to move across the sky above the mountains. At one point, it allegedly appeared to blend into or disappear against the clouds.
The alleged footage is said to be held by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations in Colorado. The Post also reported file numbers that sources identified as being associated with the recordings. However, there is one major catch: the videos themselves have not been publicly released which means the claims about the object’s size, appearance and movement cannot currently be independently verified. What US Government Said Valdez said on social media that the department’s team was “looking into this report" and suggested that anything uncovered could be released through PURSUE, the department’s platform dealing with UFO-related information. The statement does not confirm that the alleged videos have been located or authenticated and it does not mean that the object shown in the reported footage was extraterrestrial or even definitively identified as an unexplained craft.
