Joseph Vijay, the partyâs information technology (IT) wing, on its social media handle, criticised the Tamilaga Vettria Kazhagam (TVK)-led government for not answering to the issues concerning the opening of the Mettur dam for irrigation, lack of water in the delta, and the plight of farmers in the region. âAfter having ignored the demand of the Opposition for an all-party meeting on the Cauvery-Mekedatu issue, which is there in front of all of us, why is the Chief Minister holding the meeting for a Bill that has not been tabled [in Parliament]?,â the party wondered, questioning Mr. Vijay about the need for convening the meeting âin haste.â AIADMKâs stir on Cauvery-Mekedatu Meanwhile, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K.
