He stated that attempts were made by the opposition to mislead Gen Z during youth-led protests, which prompted his decision to offer his resignation to the prime minister.
Emphasising that holding a ministerial portfolio was not a matter of prestige or personal importance, he asserted that the aspirations of young people cannot be ignored or reduced to online activity. He further accused opposition leaders of targeting him with slogans during public demonstrations and engaging in political tactics. He maintained that the youth represent the country's future and must not be misled for political ends.
