Ahead of Independence Day on August 15, security agencies in the national capital have been put on high alert following intelligence inputs of potential terror attacks. In response, a massive 17-hour multi-agency counter-terrorism mock drill named Sudarshan Shakti 5 was conducted across Delhi. Participating agencies included the NSG, Delhi Police, Indian Army, NDRF, and CISF, simulating scenarios such as bomb blasts, active firing, hostage situations, and aircraft hijacks.
