Discussions focused on building a common state stance, while ruling and opposition regional parties boycotted the consultation.
Detractors termed the exercise an unfair backdoor tactic to alter electoral dynamics and urged preserving status quo on seat distribution while implementing women's reservation within existing parliamentary strength. Meanwhile, non-attending parties maintained that their opposition to delimitation remains unchanged, calling for fair processes that protect state welfare and representation.
