Students and job aspirants in Jharkhand gathered at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi to protest against widespread corruption, paper leaks, and OMR sheet tampering in state recruitment exams conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). Protesters, including aspirants on a hunger strike, alleged that government job seats are being sold, candidate data is leaked from the commission, and non-local candidates are awarded disproportionately high marks in regional languages like Khortha.
Protesters expressed anger at Chief Minister Hemant Soren for failing to address their grievances despite demonstrations being held close to his official residence. Aspirants highlighted years of preparation ruined by delayed exams, cancelled recruitments, and administrative failures, while demanding systemic reforms, transparency, and action against exam syndicates. Meanwhile, local supporters provided food and milk at the protest site to back the agitating students.
