A meeting of the four-member ministerial group with Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is underway at the CM House following the second round of discussions with protesting students. The panel briefed the Chief Minister on student demands, which include the cancellation of the 14th JPSC prelims exam, a CBI probe into recent exam scams, cancellation of JSSC and JPSC exams conducted by blacklisted agency TDPL, and complete reforms in both recruitment commissions.
Meanwhile, protesting students have scheduled a Vidhan Sabha march in Ranchi, prompting elaborate security arrangements.
