Relentless rainfall across several parts of India, including Delhi, Gurugram, Jhajjar, Agra, Uttarakhand, and Assam, has disrupted daily life and caused severe waterlogging. Major roads in Gurugram and Delhi's Sainik Farm area were submerged, bringing traffic to a crawl and causing severe inconvenience for commuters. In Haryana's Jhajjar, continuous rain inundated residential areas and roads. Meanwhile, in Agra, a two-story building collapsed in the busy Bela Ganj market, and five people were rescued after an autorickshaw fell into a flooded drain.
In Chamoli's Nandan Nagar, villagers faced extreme hazards while crossing the swollen Gadiyara river, while Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited flood-affected regions to evaluate relief operations.
