Karnataka's Food and Safety Department conducted a surprise inspection drive across food storage facilities in Bengaluru as part of an ongoing crackdown on adulterated and expired food. During inspections at facilities including Coldman Logistics Private Limited and Radhakrishna Foodland Limited, officials seized approximately 70 kilograms of soya sauce and other sauces that were nearing their expiry dates.
Additionally, around 10 liters of beverages, including strawberry-flavored drinks, were confiscated. Officials also collected five meat samples and 13 other food samples, sending them for detailed laboratory analysis.
