Police are investigating. A Telangana man alleged his wife plotted his murder with her lover. A man in Telangana has approached the police alleging that his wife was planning to have him killed in a staged road accident with the help of her alleged lover, a courier delivery agent. The alleged plot came to light after the man, Gade Rajeshwara Rao, said he checked his wife’s phone and found conversations between her and the accused man on WhatsApp and Instagram, according to a report by Times Of India. Husband Allegedly Discovers Wife’s Relationship Rajeshwara Rao, a resident of Chilkodu village in Dornakal mandal of Mahabubad district, married Bhavani, a native of Raghavapuram village in Suryapet district, in 2016.
The couple have two daughters. According to his complaint cited by the outlet, Rao works at a private hospital in Khammam. He alleged that he discovered his wife’s relationship with a courier delivery agent named Saidulu after returning home for lunch on July 27. He reportedly saw the two together and became suspicious of their relationship. The following day, a village panchayat meeting was reportedly held in the presence of elders. Rao alleged that while he was on his way to bring his brother from a nearby village, Saidulu followed him. Rao reportedly managed to evade him and returned to Chilkodu. Chats Allegedly Discussed ‘Road Accident’ Plan The screenshots submitted by Rao allegedly contain conversations about killing him. In one of the messages cited in his complaint, Bhavani allegedly told Saidulu that they could live together if he killed her husband. The complaint further alleges that Bhavani discussed avoiding a murder inside the house so that suspicion would not fall on her. She allegedly suggested that Rao’s death should instead be made to look like a road accident.
Another message allegedly contained an even more direct threat. According to Rao, Bhavani told Saidulu: “If you don’t kill my husband, I will." Zero FIR Registered Rao approached the Dornakal police station on August 1 and filed a complaint against his wife and Saidulu. Police reportedly registered a Zero FIR before transferring the case to the Khammam Rural Police Station. Rao later returned to the Khammam Rural police station on Thursday, alleging that no action had been taken on his earlier complaint. He also expressed concern for his safety. The Rural Circle Inspector reportedly acknowledged receiving the complaint and said that a case would be registered.
