A Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court over alleged exam irregularities in the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination. The petitioner, a social worker, has sought the cancellation of the exam and requested a fresh examination. The petition demands an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation alongside an independent probe committee headed by a retired High Court judge from outside Jharkhand, incorporating forensic scientists and IT experts.
It also seeks an inquiry to identify and separate tainted candidates while protests by students continue over the issue.
