A horrifying road accident in Delhi has left a 70-year-old woman dead after a speeding Mercedes collided head-on with a WagonR, sending the WagonR into a nearby three-wheeler in a chain-reaction crash. The elderly woman, identified as Uर्मिला in the report, was reportedly caught between the vehicles while feeding birds.
The WagonR driver sustained minor injuries, while Mercedes driver Shubham was detained by police. Eyewitnesses alleged that the Mercedes driver appeared intoxicated, while police are awaiting the medical report to determine further action and the applicable charges. The incident has once again raised concerns over reckless and dangerous driving in the national capital.
