Speaking to CNN-News18, several IIT Delhi graduates said the Prime Minister’s message was not just inspirational, but also gave them a sense of purpose as they planned to embark on the next journey of their lives. The students acknowledged that they had worked extremely hard to reach this stage, adding PM Modi’s emphasis on research, innovation, and nation-building has motivated them further. A student said PM Modi’s word gave them “hope, motivation, and a renewed sense of responsibility" as they begin the next journey of their life. Announcement Of Rs 1 Lakh Crore For Research Students thanked Prime Minister Modi for the announcement of Rs 1 lakh crore to support research at IIT Delhi, saying it was encouraging and that a greater government backing can help them take their research and innovations to the next level. For many of these graduates, the idea of becoming a part of ‘Viksit Bharat’ is now not just a political vision, but something they want to contribute to through their own work and research.
PM’s Personal Touch In Address Speaking to CNN-News18 that PM Modi remembered the names of their hostels, and spoke about several small, everyday things associated with the IIT Delhi campus. For them, that personal touch made the speech even more relatable, they said. What PM Modi Said PM Modi expressed confidence in the capabilities and strengths of the young generations, asserting that the country needs them in its journey towards ‘Viksit Bharat’, the government’s vision to make India a developed nation by 2047. “We have faith in you. The country needs you", PM Modi said. He said that every generation has national responsibility, suggesting that the goals of the youth must include the country’s holistic development. “You are all aware that every generation faces the specific challenges of its time and also bears its own national responsibility… Whatever you do over the next 30 to 35 years of your lives will influence our journey towards a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
