Actors Arslan Goni and Kushal Tandon’s friendship became one of the most talked-about equations on Alliance, especially after their bond took a hit inside the house. While their fallout left fans wondering if their friendship had reached a breaking point, Arslan insists there is no bad blood between them. In an exclusive interview with India Today, he dismissed the idea of any lasting bitterness, calling it part of the game and insisting that their friendship is not over. The actor, however, had a different take on the matter. He disagreed with the assessment, saying, “Firstly, I did not look at him as a competition in any way, and no, he did not overshadow my game. I really feel Aly overshadowed the house, the headquarters. He overshadowed the gameplay of everyone in that headquarters and if he can do that, I am proud of him. Kudos to his understanding of reality, which I could never have." The 39-year-old actor also addressed the speculation around Sohail Khan allegedly being upset with him during the show. In one episode, when Sohail broke down, many tried to put the blame on Arslan. However, according to him, it was simply another case of rumours travelling inside the house. "I don't think he was upset with me. There are lots of things said to a lot of people at different points of time.

And when asked whether Sohail's popularity and goodwill helped him survive longer in the competition, Arslan refused to single him out. He said, "Sohail bhai survived in the game, and that is what it is. We cannot pick out one person, or one situation and question it. I survived because I had agility, Mini survived because she had good relationships, and Aly survived because he knew how to play the game. Everybody came with their own strengths.
