Jharkhand's JPSC-JSSC recruitment controversy enters Day 15 as another round of talks between protesting students and the state government is scheduled in Ranchi. An eight-member delegation from the JPSC-JSSC Candidate Justice Forum is expected to meet the government delegation at the State Guest House in Morabadi. The first round of talks ended without a breakthrough, although both sides described the discussion as positive.
Students continue to demand cancellation of the disputed JPSC examination results, a CBI probe, transparency in recruitment examinations and action against those responsible. Protesters have also maintained their call for a Vidhan Sabha gherao on August 10 if their demands are not addressed.
