Canada deported 603 Indians in 2021. As of the latest data, 7,669 Indians were listed under Canada's "removal in progress" category.That was the highest figure among all nationalities. Mexico followed with 6,561 cases, while the US had 2,179. If they fail to do so, the order automatically changes into a deportation order.The other categories include exclusion orders and deportation orders.The CBSA has not provided a nationality-wise breakdown explaining why the Indian nationals were removed.The figures come amid increased scrutiny in Canada over the activities of some foreign nationals.
