Cricketer Rishabh Pant has made an unusual midnight appeal to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, asking for help in buying land in the hills. Pant said he has been searching for a plot for three years but has still not been able to find one, as he looks to shift his base from Delhi to Uttarakhand.
CM Dhami responded to the cricketer, calling him "Uttarakhand's pride" and assuring him that the matter would be looked into. Officials have reportedly been instructed to connect with Pant and address his concern. Pant already owns a home in Roorkee, but his latest post has sparked widespread attention online.
