Citizens have also been urged to avoid unnecessary travel and exercise caution while commuting, especially in areas vulnerable to waterlogging and traffic disruptions. The administration said the advisory is part of its efforts to address the impact of heavy rainfall and to ensure that essential civic and restoration work continues smoothly. The district administration has advised residents to monitor weather conditions and cooperate with authorities during heavy rain. Officials have cautioned that several parts of Gurugram could experience waterlogging and traffic jams, potentially affecting commuters across the city and adjoining areas. Delhi is also facing severe rainfall, with the latest advisory likely to affect movement across the wider NCR, where Gurugram is a major corporate and commuting hub.
