We also exchanged views regarding the current situation in West Asia," the Prime Minister wrote on his post on Friday.

Leaders Discuss Regional Developments According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi and Netanyahu exchanged views on recent developments in West Asia and agreed to remain in touch. The two leaders also reviewed sustained progress in India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the bilateral cooperation across various sectors for the mutual benefit of the two countries, the statement issued on Thursday said. The conversation comes amid continuing tensions across West Asia, where the war has stretched beyond five months with no permanent solution in sight. The ongoing crisis has raised concerns over regional security, energy supplies and global trade routes. The Strait of Hormuz, a key waterway for international energy shipments, remains a major focus amid rising tensions.
