Namma Metro services between Baiyappanahalli and M.G. Road on the Purple Line will remain suspended for two hours on Sunday, August 9, to facilitate essential maintenance work between Swami Vivekananda Road and Indiranagar Metro stations, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced on Friday. According to the BMRCL, train services on the affected stretch will be halted from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. During the maintenance period, metro operations will continue as per the regular schedule on the Challaghatta-M.G. Road, Baiyappanahalli-Whitefield (Kadugodi), Madavara-Silk Institute, and R.V. Road-Bommasandra sections. The metro services on the entire Purple Line, including the Baiyappanahalli-M.G. Road section, will resume normal operations from 9 a.m. on the same day after the completion of the maintenance work.
