Bloomberg News Editor-in-Chief Emeritus Matt Winkler explains what is behind Canada's investment boom. The country's government poised to attract record investment from outside its borders after foreigners poured $183 billion into Canada’s stocks and bonds in the past year.
Winkler says its thanks to "reasonable" policies, crediting Prime Minister Mark Carney -- a Rhodes Scholar, former Bank of Canada Governor, and former Bloomberg Board Chair -- for attracting investors to Canada by being "somebody the world knows very well."
