Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a breakfast meeting at his residence for newly inducted Democratic Alliance parliamentarians, including members from the NCPI and Shiv Sena. During the interaction, the Prime Minister expressed concern over the lack of functioning in Parliament and the washout of the monsoon session, where discussion took place on only one bill.
He urged the parliamentarians to have faith and assured them of his support in addressing constituency issues, priority development work, and national interests. Newly inducted parliamentarians shared that the Prime Minister listened to their demands regarding priority investments and constituency development. Discussions also focused on building personal connections with representatives who previously opposed the ruling coalition, as the alliance seeks support for upcoming key legislations such as the delimitation bill and the women's reservation bill.
