(Image source: AFP) Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament, Rahul Gandhi, in his latest attempt to make an outreach to Gen-Z, held an ask-me-anything session on Instagram. During this session, he was asked a question about being Batman and his response is now going viral.
When asked if he is Batman, the Gandhi family scion, in a lighter vein, said, “Let’s just say that no one has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together." “Students, Gen-Z — I’m here to listen. Ask me anything on Instagram, and I’ll answer as many questions as I can," Gandhi said on X while sharing the link to his ‘ask-me-anything’. Gandhi On JPSC Paper Leak He was not just asked about light and fun questions, students raised the issue of the paper leaks in Jharkhand, which is ruled by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, a Congress-ally. In response, he described the whole education system of the country as “collapse". “The student protests that are happening in the country are against the education system.
I have stated it clearly, in Kota, Dehradun and will say it in Allahabad, that our education system has collapsed, it is unaffordable and oppressive," he said. He went on to urge all governments in India, including in states ruled by Congress, to “take action to change the education system". Jharkhand Students’ Protest The ongoing protest in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi has been drawing crowds from far and wide. The protests were triggered when a group of students raised concerns over alleged irregularities in recruitment and exam processes. What started as a small demonstration quickly gained momentum as more students joined, demanding transparency, fair evaluation, and accountability from authorities. The Jharkhand Public Service Commission exam controversy arose over allegations of paper leaks, irregularities, and lack of transparency in recruitment.
As investigations led to arrests, students across Jharkhand launched protests demanding fair exams, accountability, and a fresh process. The protests have now entered in to their 13th day.
