Wilson addressed the media after meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with representatives of Christian organisations, over the proposed amendments to the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). Wilson said the delegation highlighted clause-by-clause concerns, calling several provisions "draconian" and warning that they could adversely affect minority institutions, hospitals, and places of worship.
He added that Amit Shah heard the delegation's concerns and assured them that the matter would be examined.
