According to government sources, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw raised concerns over Meta's algorithms,, deepfakes, and compliance with India's IT laws. Sources say Meta acknowledged that it cannot completely eliminate illegal content but assured the government it is strengthening safeguards and continuously improving its systems.
