The Vivek Nagar police have launched a search for an unidentified man accused of trespassing outside a woman’s residence, allegedly attempting to peep into her home and record videos in the early hours of Wednesday (August 5). According to the complaint filed at Viveknagar Police Station, the incident occurred at around 12.50 a.m. at a house located in Ejipura.
The complainant, a 29-year-old homemaker, told the police that while she was inside her house, she noticed through her CCTV camera that an unidentified man was standing naked outside her front door. The accused allegedly touched his private parts, attempted to move the window curtain to look inside the house, and tried to record videos using his mobile phone.
The woman raised an alarm, causing the suspect to flee the spot before he could be apprehended. Based on the complaint, the Viveknagar police have registered a case and are examining CCTV footage and other available evidence to identify and trace the accused. The police said efforts are under way to locate the suspect and take appropriate legal action.
