The Jharkhand government has initiated discussions with students protesting in Ranchi over alleged irregularities in several state recruitment examinations, including those conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC CGL). On Wednesday, senior district officials reached the protest venue and invited a five-member delegation of students to meet Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residence.
The invitation was conveyed by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kumar Rajat and Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Dhananjay Kumar as part of the government's effort to resolve the ongoing agitation through dialogue.
