BJP Attacks Rahul Gandhi Over Student Protests, Selective Outrage & Jharkhand Paper Leaks Issue
The Bharatiya Janata Party has hit back at Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of selective outrage and pushing a false narrative
The Bharatiya Janata Party has hit back at Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of selective outrage and pushing a false narrative over ongoing student protests. BJP MP Sambit Patra questioned why Rahul Gandhi has not visited Jharkhand to address the concerns of students protesting over alleged paper leaks in the Congress-JMM-ruled state. The BJP alleged that the Congress leader is exploiting student sentiments for political gain and attempting to mislead the country.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi met with protesting students in the national capital, praising their courage and criticizing the Modi government over an alleged crackdown during the July 20 march. He asserted that complaining about a flawed education system is not a crime and defended a student who apologized for abusing the Prime Minister, claiming protesters faced threats and harassment. The BJP rejected Gandhi's allegations, maintaining that no shots were fired during the march and denying allegations of police high-handedness.
