An Indian-flagged cargo vessel, MSV Faiz Noor Oliya, sank off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea after being struck by an unprovoked projectile attack near the port of Hodeidah. All fourteen crew members, including thirteen Indian nationals, were rescued by Yemeni authorities. India's Ministry of External Affairs and Union Shipping Minister strongly condemned the attack, which threatens international maritime trade and navigation security. In another major development, the former prime minister of Bangladesh addressed international media from India on the second anniversary of her ouster, confirming plans to return to Bangladesh in December despite facing legal verdicts.
