Protesters attempted to break police barricades while marching to gherao the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. The activists demanded the resignation of Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and accused the state government of mismanaging the education system.
The controversy surrounds the pharmacy officer exam conducted by Baba Farid University. While the Punjab government classified the incident as a cheating case following arrests, opposition parties termed it a paper leak.
