Students in Jharkhand are protesting at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium against alleged irregularities and paper leaks in examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. The ongoing demonstration has entered its twelfth day, with protesters demanding the cancellation of the fourteenth Jharkhand Public Service Commission preliminary exam, institutional reforms, and an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Government representatives, including local administration officials, held talks with protesters and requested a five-member delegation for formal discussions. The administration has expressed willingness to address multiple demands, including exam cancellation and administrative reforms, but remains reluctant to hand over the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Meanwhile, the Jharkhand Chief Minister met the Governor to provide an update on the situation and state efforts to resolve the deadlock.
