Punjab Police has busted two alleged ISI-backed terror modules and uncovered a suspected cross-border conspiracy linked to Pakistan-based handlers. According to investigators, one module had links to a planned petrol bomb attack near Delhi's Jantar Mantar protest site, where eight individuals allegedly travelled with supplies but failed to execute the plan due to heavy security arrangements.
Nine accused, including four minors, have been arrested. Police have recovered pistols, cartridges, petrol bombs, CCTV equipment and other materials during the investigation. Authorities are probing alleged financial links, online transactions and the role of Pakistan-based handlers in the case.
