The report details high-level drama as Udayanidhi Stalin is brought to the Sengipatti police station in Thanjavur district instead of the originally designated Thanjavur South Police Station. Police altered the destination route due to massive crowds and potential law and order issues at Thanjavur South. Udayanidhi Stalin initially refused to alight from the police van, arguing that Sengipatti was not the location specified in court proceedings, before eventually stepping out and entering the police station to cooperate with officials.
Following the route change, DMK cadres assembled outside the Sengipatti facility in large numbers, staging protests and raising slogans against the police action. Tensions escalated as protesters tore and struck images of the Chief Minister outside the venue. The investigation and questioning process precede the anticipated granting of station bail to Udayanidhi Stalin. Security personnel monitor the volatile gathering to prevent further chaos at the congested entrance.
